a walk in the woods

The temperature today felt a bit nippy (for September), the sky was covered in layers of gray clouds.

I chose to head to Maudslay State Park this afternoon for a brisk walk in the woods. The leaves are still predominantly green though there are sections that seem to be wearing a bit of brown with an occasional bit of red popping out. There were still flowers in the gardens and wildflowers in the woods, a nice spot of color.
