a walk on the beach

The air was chill, the wind was relatively strong, and the sun was shining. It was a good day for a walk on the beach at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge.

The sound of the sea is calming. The sight of birds skittering on the beach as the tide rolls in makes me smile, as does the motion of walking next to the sea.
