When I visited Long Hill on Saturday the tree peonies were still in hiding.

I returned today to find an explosion of these beautiful flowers.

Sunshine returned yesterday. I celebrated with a coastal wander, a visit to Halibut Point State Park in Rockport, MA.

It was a good day for a (high tide) walk by the coast.

I headed to Portsmouth, NH very early this morning for a walk before the rain. It was calm, gray, and dry until almost the end.
