north on Plum Island

I arrived on Plum Island about an hour before low tide this morning, a perfect time for a walk by the sea.

The Parker River National Wildlife Refuge beach is closed for the piping plover nesting season so I headed north from the refuge. The beach was flat and a good walking surface initially; it eventually changed to a steep slope making walking a bit more challenging.
