first day

I woke up on this first day of 2020 thinking about where I wanted to wander today. I chose to walk along the New Hampshire coast.

For a winter's day, the air was almost warm (with the temperature in the mid-30s), the sky was blue with white cloud decorations, and there was a bit of wind. It was a good day for walking.

It apparently was also a good day for surfing, and I even saw a couple of folks in bathing suits jumping into the water. The surfers wore drysuits but the swimmers, brr!
