Everything is pretty much back to normal other than the not-yet-delivered shower door and the fact that the walls are still empty.
I took (phone) photos of the walls before I removed pictures at the start of the renovations. Some things will go back in the same spot; others will not. I'm thinking...
I'm planning to use 3M Command products to hang many of the items. I have one canvas print up so far as a test; before I ordered the products I figured a sanity check would be good. I found some of the hangers I was looking for at a local hardware store but the price was a lot higher than expected. I placed an order with Amazon for a much more reasonable price.

Renovations are almost complete; the only missing piece is the shower door.
Today the new bathroom door was installed. With the old shower removed there was wall space to support a barn door instead of the more typical hinged door. I chose a door with a shaded glass insert. It allows some light to show through while still providing privacy.

Yesterday was my first (but not last!) visit to the Andres Institute of Art in Brookline, NH. It's a sculpture park containing many pieces of art scattered through the woods on a 140 acre property, a delight for wandering.

Clear blue skies and warming temperatures drew me to Reid State Park in Georgetown, Maine on Saturday. It was a good morning for a walk by the ocean.

I headed out early Friday morning with instructions to stay away (from home) until sometime today.
Hardwood covers most of the first floor and the stairs to the second floor. The hardwood was refinished over the last 2 days, sanded and then treated with 3 coats of polyurethane.
I returned home today to find shining floors, clean and fresh.

It's hard to believe that the deconstruction (or perhaps it should be called destruction) process started just two weeks ago. The walls were missing in part of the living room and the master bedroom in preparation for fixing leak damage, and the master bathroom was empty.
The bathroom is almost finished; it needs more paint and the shower door has been ordered. It seems a bit odd since the shower is not an unusual size but the door couldn't be ordered until the walls were tiled. An exact measurement was needed.
I'm simply amazed at how fast repairs and renovation have progressed.

I'm amazed at how fast the counters were completed. Someone from Granite Plus was here to create the template last Monday, and yesterday the finished product was installed.
The counters are gorgeous!
