Today's winter storm warning was posted until 5 PM. At precisely that time I looked outside to see clear sky colored by the setting sun. It was amazing to see a cast of pink thrown across the snow.

The winter storm warning has been replaced with a special weather statement warning of possible black ice as the temperature drops this evening.
