mill buildings

My walking destination this afternoon was a bit out of character; I looked at buildings instead of natural beauty.

I visited the North Canal Historic District in Lawrence, MA. I was treated to the sight of reflections of the pure blue sky and the mill buildings that line the canal.

The Washington Mills was once the largest woolen mills in the United States. The building has been renovated; it now houses loft apartments.
